Stefan Hrusca – Dimineti cu ferestre deschise

I heard this very nice (and as I found, very old) Romanian music last night at the new years party.
The main theme of the music are: morning, windows, flowers and peace. The lyrics is very beautiful, however the melody is what truly got me.

Dimineti fara lacrimi in zori

Dimineti fara ganduri ucise

Implorand fara glas timpul vietii netors
Sa nu-si treaca prin noi alt razboi
Sangeroasele ploi

REFR.

Peste toti lumina se revarsa la fel
Cum sa poti deslusi cine-s eu, cine-i el?
Cand pe globul de vieti drumu-i sterp
Fara drumeti

Sa gasim, oameni buni, dupa noapte popas
Pentru cate iubiri in priviri ne-au ramas
Si-mpreuna sa vrem sa-mplinim
Cat destin mai avem.

REFR.

Szecsi Pal-Domjan Edit – Bus szivbol enekelni…

Szecsi Pal-Domjan Edit – Bus szivbol enekelni…

Szecsi Pal was a Hungarian singer until his mysterious death in 1974 (still subject of legends and myths).

The life wasn’t really kind with him, after he lost his father in the last days of WW2 (he was just 1 year old), his mother left him and his 2 nurses alone and migrated to the USA. After leaving the orphanage at 16, his charming, boyish, masculine look and his great voice made by him a real idol of the 60′s, 70′s Hungary.

In love he wasn’t really successful, because of his problems with alcohol, he couldn’t keep nobody close enough to him. After cheating Domjan Edit just after 10 months with an other woman, Edit committed suicide. Pal always had the strong belief that he was part of her death, and this is how this song has born. He mad a mistake and paid the price…

After all, losing somebody you loved, you cared about is not easy at all… You can make mistakes, maybe you can’t express in the right ways your feelings, but you’re the only one knows what’s going on inside your soul…

For me Szecsi Pal is dear for an other reason too, and this is because of he fact that my father in his younger years almost looked like how Pali was. Not kidding! :)

Country Roads, take me home

Country Roads, take me home, by John Denver is my the first music video. I created it because today I’m going home for a couple of days and… So basically that’s the idea behind it… :) Hope you’ll like it, and if you do, don’t forget to rate it :)

Almost heaven, West Virginia
Blue Ridge mountains, Shenandoah River.
Life is old there, older than the trees,
Younger than the mountains, growing like a breeze.

Country roads, take me home,
To the place, I belong,
West Virginia, mountain mama.
Take me home, country roads.

All my mem’ries gather ’round her,
Miner’s lady stranger to blue waters.
Dark and dusty painted on the sky,
Misty taste of moonshine, tear-drops in my eye.

Country roads, take me home,
To the place, I belong,
West Virginia, mountain mama.
Take me home, country roads.

I hear her voice, in the mornin’ hour she calls me
The radio reminds me of my home far away.
And driving down the road I get a feeling
That I should have been home yesterday,
Yesterday.

Country roads, take me home,
To the place, I belong,
West Virginia, mountain mama.
Take me home, country roads.
